
Experience
René has over thirty years of experience as marketing manager, business leader and chairman in companies such as BASF AG, Südmilch AG (Friesland Campina), fischerwerke GmbH & Co. KG, Franz Haniel & Cie., Hilti AG and Ergoline (JK-INTERNATIONAL GmbH). During the last ten years he has worked on many international development projects of Senior Expert Service, Bonn, helping CEOs to grow their business and their personality. He has coached teams and individuals in many areas of business, including running programs on Corporate Positioning and Marketing, Inter-cultural Management and Organizational Development and especially on conflicts. René is based near Mannheim and operates as one of Unlimited Potential’s international coaches. He is fluent in both German and English.
Expertise
René is experienced in executive-level coaching for business leaders. Beside business administration he has studied psychology at the University of Mannheim, which has helped him in later years to understand his clients´ needs and support them to reach their highest potential.
Coaching style
The theories underpinning René’s work cannot be reduced to individual methods or a single school of thought. His approach is integrative, and includes elements of Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, as well as concepts of systemic therapy and concepts of organizational theory. On a practical level, he places emphasis on self-evaluation: analysing one’s own emotional experience, paying attention to verbal and non-verbal cues, and so on, all with a view to becoming a more self-aware and effective leader.
