With years of professional corporate experience Pia is highly skilled in executive and leadership coaching, professional development, career transition, training and facilitation and coaching individuals and teams in culturally diverse and sensitive environments. Pia has held various leadership positions at multinationals since 1990 and spent 12 years at Cisco Systems, in Copenhagen, London and Dubai. She has played a role in developing Sales and Marketing projects for key partners in IT and network industry in Denmark and UK with Cisco in 1999-2006. As Director of Strategy & Business Development she coached and mentored new managers in Central and South Africa and helped develop Cisco’s “Diversity and Inclusion” program in UK, North Africa and GCC. In 2011, Pia decided to leave her corporate career, with the motivation of sharing her broad corporate experience and coaching people in their career paths.

Pia works with local as well as international clients which include leaders at multinational corporations such as Dubai Airports, Equinix, Standard Chartered Bank, ADNOC, HSBC, Serco, Oliver Wyman, HP, Proctor & Gamble, Visa Card, Microsoft, Shell, Sovereign, Nasco Insurance and Cisco Systems. A native of Copenhagen, Denmark, Pia is currently living in Dubai and is a frequent keynote and guest speaker at regional business conferences and corporate events on the topics of Empowerment, Social Issues, Conversational Intelligence, and Empathy in the Workplace.

My style is empathic and respectful, while I lean into the issue that is keeping you from being the best you can be. I have a natural curiosity and as such I ask provocative questions to get to the core of what may be blocking you from moving forward.
Qualifications
Pia is a certified Executive and Leadership coach, holding the PCC credential under the banner of the International Coach Federation (ICF), which is a sign she is a strong and experienced coach, International MBA from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL, Master’s of Science in Social Psychology, from Walden University, US, Bachelors degree of Science in Speech Communication and Public Relations from Southern Illinois University. Licensed trainer in Dynamic Emotional Integration (Karla Mclaren) incorporating empathy and emotions awareness into the coaching process where applicable and has also integrated horse assisted coaching & development into her professional practice.
