Omar is a highly experienced Organisational Development expert, HR Director and author. His experience as a Personal trainer in the early years of his career makes him a great energiser of people. His time as an HR Director in the hospitality industry gives him great credibility and an ability to quickly assess organisational people issues and put together highly interactive and engaging strategic training solutions.
Omar used his 26 years of people and organisational development experience to publish his book “Leading Cats & Dogs in the Workplace”. The book focusses on leadership styles in the modern world and getting the most out of the new generation of employees.
During his career, he has held several senior positions such as Head of Learning and Development, Director of People Development and been a faculty member for Imperial Business School and Cass Executive Education.
Over the last 5 years Omar was based in the UAE and working throughout the GGC region where he was able to work with clients such as: Dubai Parks and Resorts in defining their brand proposition and behaviours and Dubai Businesswomen Council delivering a 3-part masterclass series. During this time, he partnered with PWC to deliver a wide range of corporate skills and organisational development programmes for PWC training academy in Dubai.
Furthermore, as an assistant programme director and facilitator for Imperial College Business School, he partnered the Dubai’s Prime Minister’s Office for Innovation to deliver a 12 month UAE Public Sector Innovation Diploma for government officials from all the Emirate states.

With a passion for delivering training and facilitating learning and development experiences Omar is well able to quickly establish group rapport in a way that leads to effective and practical learning and behavioural change results.
