Melinda has over 20 years’ experience as an executive and business coach and over 35 as a Consultant. At the age of 30 she was a founding director of a search and selection business which floated on the stock market. In 1990 she started building her current practice and by 2000 was coaching executives up to board plc board level specializing in retail, financial and professional services and FMCG. As well as being a coach she also now runs a successful hospitality business where she also provides individual and group retreats.
Expertise
Melinda uses an integrative approach in her coaching born out of her experience in corporate change consulting, as an entrepreneur, as a search and outplacement consultant and a qualified counsellor and psychometrician. She has coached hundreds of individuals to achieve success in their careers and business, sometimes completely changing their lives in the process. Four have become successive CEOs of the same £billion multi-million global company!
Coaching style
Melinda’s empathetic yet challenging approach achieves a balance between keeping in rapport with the client and provoking to become the best they can possibly be. Whilst remaining truly ‘person-centred’ she is probably best described as a ‘Coach/Mentor’, selectively sharing some of her own personal gains and losses in the course of a varied and colourful career!

Coaching philosophy
Each client requires an approach which is right for them depending on their psychological make up, their stage in life and career and their goals and objectives. One size does not fit all! Melinda believes it is never too late to become who you were destined to be or even re-invent yourself. Hope, emotional resilience, self-compassion and humour are vital skills to learn to thrive and be happy.
