Experience

Marialexia started her career in Shell Hellas S.A working as a Personnel Planner looking after the areas of career planning, performance appraisal and tools, remuneration strategy including salary surveys.  Marialexia became Head of Resourcing Department, responsible for the areas of manpower planning, recruitment strategy, organisational structure and training.  Marialexia entered the field of corporate brand management and lead the design of brand strategy and implementation of marketing communication plans for all retail products  and services (fuels, lubricants, convenience retailing) with regional line responsibility for South Europe.  In 2005, Marialexia became member of the global organization (Shell International Petroleum Company) and she held the positions of Global Retail Media Strategy Manager and Global Retail Advertising & Comms Manager, line-managing teams around the globe, excluding Canada, Africa and Japan.  Since March 2009, she has established her own private practice as a psychologist and corporate coach working both locally and internationally with individuals and teams.

Coaching style

Solution Focus Methodology as the core approach with elements of Systemic approach used especially when coaching teams. Marialexia also uses tools to accelerate the coaching process in agreement with the client (DISC profiling, other psychometric tests, 360o reviews, video simulations etc).

Coaching philosophy

It is my belief that the person has all the answers he or she needs, only hidden or forgotten somewhere inside themselves. It is a matter of searching and throwing some light onto their inner resources, regain access to them and use them in building a new way towards their goals. Ultimately, it is about their life and therefore, they should be allowed to design the solutions that are best for them with the coach facilitating and supporting them on the way.
