Coaching philosophy
Coaching is about partnering with the client, not about applying learned coaching models. Edmée says: “By listening to the client, asking yourself why is the client telling me this right now? Listening with intention is the only thing you need to create safety, trust and presence. Coaching models get in the way if we are looking to see when to use them. Also culture plays, always, a role in any human connection, as coaches and mentor coaches we need to develop our own cultural competency, if we want the client to go deep in their emotions and create the changes they need to make”.
