
Experience
Cherry has held senior positions in numerous teams and organisations both as a provider and as a commissioner within the Third Sector, Local Authority and the NHS. She has extensive experience of leading on strategy and the delivery of organisational development and talent management. Cherry has 20 years mentoring and coaching experience in numerous roles as a Senior and Executive Manager; and has also coached and led on change management within organisations deemed to be dysfunctional or failing leading to both individual and organisational success. She led on the development of a Clinical Commissioning Group that achieved Gold Investors in People and full assurance status. She is involved in regional and national compassionate leadership and staff experience programmes, includes speaking at national events, delivering webinars and leading training. Alongside this she is an experienced leader of change, an executive coach, mentor, NLP master practitioner and therapist. Cherry has extensive experience in Safeguarding and leading development of strategy and partnerships of citywide Adults Safeguarding Boards and has worked with over 150 organisations to bring them together with a common ambition of supporting the most vulnerable people in their community.
Expertise
Cherry’s expertise is in developing individual leaders and successful workplace cultures, encompassing well-being strategies for staff and teams who then create flourishing organisations that deliver the best quality experiences for their customers. She has expertise in working with organisations, leaders and teams to create coaching and distributive leadership cultures in a variety of statutory and non-statutory organisations that transform the way people work. Cherry uses her ability to communicate and generate belief, shared responsibility and participation to support both individual, organisational and large-scale changes.

Cherry’s style is of listening, collaboration, ownership, and resilience. She works on a person-centred model that supports the coachee to reach their own solutions that work for them. Emotional intelligence is key for individuals, teams and organisations and Cherry uses her knowledge of cognitive – behavioural patterns to help the individual to understand and challenge their behaviours, their beliefs and their choices. Cherry focuses on results through values driven contribution and commitment.
