Unlimited Potential stepped in to deliver a bespoke facilitated learning programme to leaders across the world. The ongoing programme consistently receives outstanding feedback from delegates and has improved their leadership and management skills – helping the organisation to continue to grow and achieve its strategic goals.
Our client wanted to hold a series of workshops to improve leadership and management skills for its people based at locations across the globe. They had already created core elements of the workshop, along with video and graphic content, but they didn’t have the expertise or resource to deliver the workshops. Since Unlimited Potential had been successfully working closely with them to deliver training and coaching internationally, they called on us to tailor and deliver the programme to their leadership population.
We overcame several challenges to help the client. The organisation was (and still is) growing through mergers and acquisitions so leaders need to cope with change and integrate quickly into new roles and fresh ways of working. We had to accommodate cultural differences as we facilitated learning across international locations as varied as London, SanFrancisco, Washington DC and Hong Kong. We dealt with highly diverse groups of up to 25 people representing every aspect of the organisation – from technical team leaders to sales and marketing directors – with varied levels of leadership and management experience. It was critical that we communicated a consistent message across cultures. So we had to provide the right mix of training to meet the needs of different learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
Because our programme received such good delegate and organisation feedback, we added an advanced second module designed to be delivered 12 months after the first. This embedded and built upon the learning from the initial programme to take delegates’ leadership and management skills up to the next level.

In the 4 years we have been delivering these workshops we have taken around 500 leaders through the process, with around 100 going on to attend the second module. Our close relationship with our client means we have evolved the content to meet the fast-moving needs of the organisation. Because Unlimited Potential was able to understand and act on the wide-ranging requirements of our client, we have been entrusted with not just delivering the workshops but adapting the content – as well as the way we deliver it – so that it stays relevant and useful.
The programme has resulted in a marked and continued improvement in the organisation’s leadership capability. It has developed successful leadership teams who have exceeded expectations as the organisation continues to grow and realise its strategy.
