On Tuesday 26 September 2017, Unlimited Potential were delighted to be attending London's glitzy Grosvenor Hotel for a Black Tie dinner for the CIPD's People Management Awards. 97 tables of the premier HR, Leadership and Developments teams in the country were in attendance vying for an award.
As it was our first year at the awards and we had been shortlisted for our work in partnership with the brilliant team at Dorset County Council for "Best Coaching and mentoring initiative". Despite us not being crowned winners of this category did not take the sheen off the evening. It was great to be shortlisted with such a strong field on contenders.
It was great for us to spend some quality time with our clients in a more relaxed enviroment as well as enjoying the trimmings from one of London's premier Hotels. Rory Bremner was the host of the evening and was highly entertaining with impressions from Donald Trump to Boris Johnson, Louis Walsh to Bill Clinton and many many more.
Supplemented very ably by the disticting tone of the voice of the balls Alan "Deadly" Dedicoat who provided the announcement of the contenders which added a special touch to the proceedings.
Despite not winning Tim and some of the gang managed to get on the stage for a photo before the evening was done.
Thanks to all our guests for spending their evenings with us and we look forward to being at the award dinner next year where with the work we are doing will hopefully once again make the shortlists and possibly a sparking award in recognition of the work we do.
