True Colors
Improve team communication and effectiveness
The uniqueness of the True Colors® tool is that it does NOT assess anyone or anything. Using an approach called “edutainment” (combining entertainment with education) you explore your strengths, values, joys and needs in an interactive environment.
True Colors® is designed to build self esteem and appreciation of the unique strengths we all bring to any relationship. Building on the concept of a four Color metaphor teams develop insights into one another which are positive, reinforcing, supportive and above all easy to remember and use back in the workplace or community.
There is no preparation required to experience True Colors and no reports are generated. The process is about self discovery, self reflection and discussion combined with fun and entertaining ways to communicate and build connections to each other.
Grounded in the thorough research of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), True Colors is designed to simplify and demystify personality temperament typing – making it easy to understand and retain.
True Colors is a fabulous tool for team building within business, developing confidence and self esteem in students, as a teaching tool within education – it can be used anywhere that people get together and want to better understand and appreciate how to get along with one another.
How can True Colors™ help your team?
By better understanding our own personality type and perspectives, and those of our team members, True Colors™ improves:
- Self-awareness, and awareness of other team members’ motivators and values
- Rapport and trust amongst team members
- Influencing and communication skills
- Conflict-resolution skills
- Provide personal insights into individual values, needs, joys and strengths
- Increase awareness of other members of the team to enable more effective "teaming" of groups to work on specific customer/client projects - either specifically choosing the same character types or a diversity of types depending on the needs of the customer
- A fun, revealing exercise, True Colors™ is an excellent for team bonding and motivation.
